A mixed media watercolour, Psalm 22 depicts the first hour of the crucifixion, when Jesus was suffering intensely in every part of his beaten body.Not only that ,but demons of almost unbearable ferocity were attacking Him, suggesting that His attachment to God was false, that this was His bitter, useless end. They are represented by ink strokes around His head. His head is bent, His bones exposed, and though it is semi-abstract in some laces, the emotion is there, in the colours and shapes.
